SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT / SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing technical solutions to new and existing customers
  • Actively driving and managing the presales/solution design process with direct and channel customers
  • Must be able to articulate the company’s technology, product, and service portfolio, and position them to both business and technical users
  • Working with various internal teams for solutions and advertisements
  • Preparing solutions (SOW/LLD/HLD)
  • Preparing advertisements
  • Providing technical assistance and guidance during the presales process by identifying the customer‘s technical and business requirements
  • Supporting business sales teams on proposal activities and pricing

Individual responsibilities:

  • Attending meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Creating and confidently delivering technical presentations both internally and externally
  • Performing technical development for bespoke solutions as part of design and development frameworks
  • Able to understand business drivers and risks involved
  • Creating internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's /Master's degree in the fields of Engineering and/or Technology
  • Min 5-8 Years of work experience with reputable telco or systems integrator
  • In-depth working knowledge of the ICT business within the networking and telecom domains
  • Certifications CCNA, CCDA, and CCNP are desirable
  • Working knowledge of SDN, NFV, SD-WAN is desirable
  • Previous experience of requirements gathering, design, and solution building, as well as the ability to replicate this in a commercial setting
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • Willingness to travel throughout the sales territory
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with technical and commercial departments such as sales, operations, and product development
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly
  • Project management experience a distinct advantage
