The Client

The client is a multinational data networking and telecommunications equipment company headquartered in Espoo, Finland. Nokia Networks, employing over 100,000 people, has operations in over 100 countries and is the world’s largest producer of telecommunications network infrastructure.

The Challenge

In order to win this major deal, the client was required to provide strict 24x7x4 SLA maintenance for spare parts delivery in case of failure at the POP. However, the client was unable to provide such maintenance capabilities on its own in several Middle Eastern and African countries, so turned to Neeco.

 The Neeco Solution

Neeco was able to fully establish the service at more than 20 warehouses in the Middle East and Africa in less than two months. This involved a mix of Neeco-owned and third-party warehouses, together with 24x7x4 delivery of spare parts service to the sites.

The Risk

The situation on the various local markets in terms of warehousing was unknown at the time as well as the overall quality of services in Africa. Due to extensive work using its unparalleled local presence during the setup, Neeco was able to eliminate any potential problems while setting up the warehouses.
